  • How many times a week will my child receive therapy services?
The frequency and duration of treatment is contingent on the initial therapy evaluation performed by the therapist and authorized by the pediatrician or specialist. Typically, therapy services are provided 1-3 times a week for either 30 to 60 minute treatment sessions at a time. Therapy services are authorized for 6 months at a time in most cases. After a 6 month initial certification period, a re-evaluation is conducted to determine if further treatment is necessary.
  • How do I pay for therapy sessions?
Most insurance companies will pay for therapy services as long as the therapy services are deemed medically necessary.
